I'll take a condo over another scrap yard or trailer parking lot like this area is so well known for.

There are a few new documents up. Seems as though the original submission wasn't complete. Doesn't look like any major changes, just a proper uploading of all the required docs.

They've also infected the lot across the street next to staples. What an eye sore.

I noticed in the plans they removed a large section of retail spaces to make more room for parking... And there are also a certain % of ev parking spots in the plans, there are no chargers present anywhere on site. Is this usually something that gets added in afterwards? Seems odd.

Did he rent the land next to Staples too? It's full of tractor trailers also. It's such an eye sore. Can they just put this mall out of its misery? It's like watching an old friend die a slow, painful death.

The site has been fenced off for over 10 years, drove by the other day to see a fence and notice is up. Upon further research, Ontario community housing did an RFP and chose a developer and architect. Currently on google street view https://www.enformarchitects.com/50-torbolton

A plan has been resubmitted as of Dec 1, 2023. Looks nice! Seems as though they listened to the community and added retail. Also nice to see brick. More information can be found here ...

Good to see more three bedrooms. Still hard to live in this area without a car unfortunately so the reduced parking can be challenging.

I used to work in this building, I loved the atmosphere. Though back then there was absolutely nothing there other than the Loblaws.

I live in the area, I'm excited to see what opens in terms of restaurants. I don't step foot in Woodbine since it's a dead mall. I guess they are assuming folks gambling will shop.

The costco opened up today.

I noticed the retail along the perimeter of the casino is nearing completion, any insights as to what will be in there? I can't seem to find any permit or application information.

It'd be great if it also continued north east into north etobicoke.
