This is outstanding. The real brick and the height both suit the neighbourhood well. It would be great to have more mid-rises like this in the city.

Apologies for not knowing, but where is this 4-storey building? It's striking.

I do the same...with the addition of One Delisle, which I think is the other wonderful Toronto project currently under construction. These three make quite the trifecta.

Palace Pier is one of my favourite developments in the city. I don't think it looks dated, though it certainly captures the look of certain time. I love the quality, especially compared to a lot of the value-engineered, spandrel-clad buildings going up today.

    50 Queens Quay East (Park) | ?m | ?s | City of Toronto

What ever happened to the park that was meant to replace the surface parking lot at the foot of Yonge Street, directly to the West of Pier 27? Years and years ago, I recall that being part of the renderings of Pier 27.

It appears that the "design" is the bottom of a giant stylized "92". My guess is that the duplicate "92"s are temporary wand will be removed when the giant "92" is complete.

    Toronto 50 Scollard | 147.62m | 41s | Lanterra | Foster + Partners

I love the elegance of this building and the quality of the materials. That said...it seems like the opening panels randomly switch between the left and the right side. Would that be by design, or could it simply be an installation error?

At least we have the first cladding at 50 Scollard to keep us entertained in the meantime...

Some muted grey spandrel & window wall would look spectacular here...with chunky aluminum mullions.
