Wouldn't Bolton Line ridership be bolstered by the fact the CP Mactier Sub passes through Woodbridge as well? Surely a stop would be put in place somewhere in that community, should the line ever come into existence.
Just noticed today that the north pedestrian entrance (from Atlantic Ave) has been temporarily diverted. I assume for the tunnel entrance construction. That's the first sign of 5th track construction activity @ GO Exhibition in months.
There is one maintenance/utility tunnel connecting the south and north MTCC buildings under the tracks, its about wide enough for 2 golf carts to pass through side by side.
Will the long, outdoor platforms (pictured above) that extend out of the train shed be "touched up" or renovated in any capacity? I know they don't really serve much purpose anymore in terms of passenger loading (aside from The Canadian?) but it would seem a bit off to put all this great effort...
Totally agree, a pedestrian friendly access network from the east side (where much of the residential foot traffic originates) would be a great improvement, since the station has such a small foot print. Access from Manchester St would be a great start.
