Seconded. The 3 stop scarborough subway extension is getting built no matter what, but if the city withdraws the funding, other projects that keesmat wants to do and needs provincial funding might get scrapped as revenge.
Speaking of BRT, I think the kind that highway 7 has creates a similar problem as LRT. But Highway 7 is wide enough to accomodate BRT (maybe the roads were designed with BRT in mind). Anyways, it seems like Josh Matlow keeps pushing LRT even though we really really really hate LRT for all the...
you mean making STC the most connection station? It would be about as connected as Yonge/Bloor, St.George, and Finch station. So not really the most connected, just well connected.
Hallelujah! The original 3 stop plan is much better than the 1-stop compromise. With the 3-stop plan, I think almost everyone in Scarborough will be okay with it as opposed to the great divide.
Well I mean like there must be a reason why all the buses are being routed to STC right now, it's not even a subway station yet. We have transportation planners who get paid to do their job.
Their Square One isn't on the subway line though, unlike STC which is going to be. I'd connect a whole lot more of their buses to Square One if it's on the subway line terminus.
