MTR at 130 km/h? No wonder we were faster than the highway traffic when I was riding it back in May. Wish the TTC subways had that capability. It would certainly shorten my 45 minute commute time downtown! Can't wait to see what similarity the TRs will have with the MTR trains, seeing that...
I should really quit going to HK in November (though they already had tons of Xmas lights already up along the streets), but rather go in December as I've missed those Xmas light decorations on the towers every year the past 4 years!
Back to RBC, unfortunately, I have a strong feeling that...
I foresee traffic chaos into the downtown core from the east and northeast as the cars funnelling down from the DVP will end up hitting a logjam of vehicles stuck behind traffic lights on the new Lakeshore Blvd. It will also bring more traffic onto Richmond.

Will there be US customs pre-clearance facilities and Canada customs facilities? It would be hard to imagine starting up a YTZ-EWR service without those facilities in place.
Without US customs pre-clearance, it will be very inconvenient to have to land at Newark (or any other US destination)...
Nice pics! I assume you were flying out to HKG on one of AC's 777-200LRs?
Never been to Hammerhead F in person yet, only Pier F where United Airlines' flights depart out of. Though, I've looked through the glass at the end of the Pier into the Hammerhead many times.
No worries, Toronto will never get to the point of becoming another Hong Kong within this century even if it tried.
Toronto's climate, population, public transit, NIMBYism, surban-mentality and the slower rate of project development serve as huge hinderances in comparison.
