I just took a quick look at your link. They say Harbour Street will be increased to four lanes from Lower Simcoe to Bay... Ugh... I guess that means no wide sidewalk on the south side between York and Bay? (The strip that is now the Yonge off ramp).

Me too... For aesthetic and practical reasons. I try to get out of 33 bay onto Harbour and people come flying off the Yonge ramp , across two lanes in a short distance to get in the lane that goes up to Yonge. I'm hoping the ramp removal will rationalize traffic on the street a bit... And...

I was driving in from Mississauga one day recently and there's a point on the Gardiner when it looks like Ice West is just an extension of Infinity II -- a massive project with a recessed skinny top tower.

Wasn't this made worse by the fact that the city changed 2 turning lanes up Yonge to just 1? I also think it'll be less of a problem when the Yonge/Bay/york ramp gets torn down and that offramp traffic isn't leading right into that space in front of the building. That ramp is for Yonge...

I think 33 bay looks great when you come down Bay from the north. Very sleek. But I'm biased. I moved into it two weeks ago. Quite happy with the 1054 sqft corner unit... CN tower and lake views.
