    700 King West - Information?

We are looking to purchase a loft in 700 King West. I'm looking for some information on this building. I searched urbantoronto but I didn't find much. I find it hard to believe this property had never been discussed here but alas my search turned up nothing. From what I've gathered on the...

Can anyone tell me about the French Quarter East building (120 Lombard - http://www.urbandb.com/canada/ontario/toronto/french-quarter-east/) and what it's like to live in this building/area? The SallyAnn across the street seems sketch, but walking down to King E. was nice.

    Bay Street Corridor

I'm hoping the addition of parking will inspire business other than cheap lunch spots and coffee shops to open up along the street. That space at Grenville and College seems like it would be great place to open up a restaurant as a replacement to Bistro 990. Nothing to pricey, just something...

    Bay Street Corridor

I thought it would be awkward too but this side walk is big and it's not that busy. It's probably 3x the size or a normal sidewalk. Even with the caution tape blocking off the construction site I don't find it over crowded and I walk it everyday.

This is a great project they are doing. There are two huge trenches of dirt between Grosvenor and Wellesley (north and south of Breedlebaine) with built in irrigation systems and rain traps to collect water and feed the irrigation system. I walk by this project every day and it really helps the...

Really? The most illogical statement you've ever read? Ever? I challenge you to find the fallacy. If you can, I will retract it. Short of that, I will stand by my opinion. Which is what I suspect you really have a problem with, and not with my alleged fallacious statement. The point of what I'm...

...yet they remain at a faceless intersection in a suburb of Toronto. At the intersection of, from what I can remember, a six lane road with another six lane road. A real shame about the location. You'll even notice in the article they say they don't consider location. Shows you the difference...

Here is how the new Sick Kid's building is shaping up from the south west. Taken from 180 Dundas Street.

I've never seen a unit available there. Is it nice inside?

I don't understand why the blank slate on the west side is limited to that small sliver, do they have an agreement with the property next door not to build it any wider than the blank slate? It seems the property owner could just build straight up and block all those windows unless there is some...

    Toronto Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

I live in the area and for obvious self interested reasons I like the idea of a park. Queen's Park is in the area but it's so isolated by the traffic on Queen's Park Cresent and the fact you need to walk up to the walkway or down to Wellesly to get across, I don't feel as though it's in my...

Does anyone know what the deal is the residences at 2 Sultan Street? Is this a co-op, apartment, condo conversion? Any information is appreciated.

In an effort to refocus the thread, here is a picture of the construction site taken from 1001 Bay street. Picture isn't the best but as you know, no balconies at 1001 Bay so it makes picture taking difficult. Also, everyday for the last 2 weeks there have been dump trucks lined down Phipps...

    Bay Street Corridor

Lots of things are changing in the Bay Street Corridor. Here is a shot looking north from the 27th floor outside common area at 1001 Bay. Soon that little red crane will be two condominiums. Also, the new glass condo at St. Thomas and Charles is coming along nicely.
