Yes, that is definitely the site. The JLL has it listed as sold (https://powersearch.jll.com/ca-en/property/37831/1030-danforth-avenue) and the Theo building website is up so I'm guessing they haven't gotten around to removing the sign or still waiting for traction (sales, demand, etc).
My WAG is that with the fundraising here (http://sfioanevanghelistul.ca/wordpress/2019/04/20/campanie-de-strangere-de-fonduri-pentru-cumpararea-noii-biserici-1108-greenwood-ave-toronto/) they were able to raise enough money to purchase and keep it as a place of worship. It is a guess but the...
Look's like @Skeezix might have been right about biding their time (hopefully not land speculators). Perhaps someone familiar with the price of commercial land could provide their thoughts about the 8 mil price tag?
Another status update on Fortress website (nothing we don't already know as they are typically a month behind):

Although it is worth noting that @YDS pictures are being used for construction updates here...
Thanks @YDS
According to the Fortress site, a lot of the ones you mention are still pending a zoning approval and one even mention seeking another builder:

Sounds like Platform is safe for now and hopefully doesn't get...
Unfortuantely I don't have access to the full article so I can't tell if this property part of the movement to seize. However, according to the Fortress site there are 20 active projects and the news article mentions 13 were siezed so odds are not good...
Seems to be quite a few issues with the builder. Hopefully the problems don't impact this building:
https://canadanewsmedia.ca/2018/10/15/second-mortgage-brokerage-firm-tied-to-real-estate-developer-fortress-real-developments-shuts-down/
According to the builder's site it is 2 levels (65 parking spots):
https://fortressrealdevelopments.com/projects/platform-condos/
However it does look too shallow for 2 levels. I'm assuming they are going deeper unless the equipment has already been removed?
According to https://condonow.com/Platform-Condos they decreased the suite size from 958 - 1228 sq ft to 645 - 1228 sq ft which, I'm assuming, lowered the average square foot cost from $855 to $806 (pretty big drop if you ask me for a building that is "sold out").
