In the spirit of "old and new" I found the reflection off the north glass of 2 Roxborough (Diamante) to be rather interesting. The remaining glass has less reflectivity apparently.

yes, indeed! Interior demolition is underway of what John Bentley Mays referred to as a "kind of dumb-looking, three-storey modernist office block from the 1970s..." cracks me up.

The dark material is metal, with a reveal between strips- the idea is to contrast with the wood detailing found around the outdoor spaces.

That's actually quite an old rendering... boy how these progress as the details get fleshed out... Some of the chamfers that really make the front facade 'sing' are a bit more evident in this version.

I believe this pretty much marks the top of the building - the steel represents the final two penthouse floors. The townhomes are also going up along Rebecca, together with the 4 townhomes on the neighbouring Givins. Starting to shape up!
