Panera Bread is indeed confirmed to replace the former Levis store on Yonge Street near Dundas Square. Panera Bread signs are posted on the fascade.

A & W is opening south of Yonge and Adelaide next to Tim Horton's.

Express is slated to open this fall at the Fairview Mall.

New Eaton Centre Food Court is scheduled to open September 1st, 2011. New signs are posted in the mall.

There a lot of dead trees on Bloor East. It looks awful. I can't believe a year later and the trees are dead?! I hope they come back next year. Otherwise, it's not a good sign for how well these trees will do long-term.

I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of this Bloor Street activity and presentation prep - La Societe patio (to capitalize on visitors), installing hoarding for new Intermix / Michael Kors stores (to showcase and promote brand) - has to do with coinciding with the June 19th Bloor Street party...

Anyone have a construction update on this building? i.e. floor count, expected completion date, dome installation timing, etc.

I was recently in Washington and Boston. None of their Ritz-Carlton hotels had logos on the top of their buildings. The Boston one looked similar to ours in glass and blandness. The Washington one looked like an early 1990's Holiday Inn. Toronto didn't fare so bad after all.
