I might have missed it if it has already been mentioned but I hope they improve / widen the sidewalk that leads down to the station as it is a tad cramped at the moment.
It's less about the number of elevators and more about the lack of urgency in fixing them when they break. If you had 2 elevators per station then you will have 2 out of service elevators waiting to be fixed. Same problem.
If I am not mistaken I believe the part between Yonge to Osgood is being done cut and cover due to the complexity of everything in the area as well as the complexity of the interchange stations as well.
Why are the ontario line platforms so deep ? I think if I counted right it like 5 flights of stairs / escalators from the street.
I hope the connection to the line 1 platform won't be dumb

We should probably be making a bigger deal about that as it is kind of important. It should not be any deeper than it absolutely needs to be; otherwise, it is just unnecessary waste of time for the every day users of this line and a waste of money for the people building it.
As far as new transit projects I personally hope for a line 2 extension to at least Sherway gardens. It could be a pretty inexpensive extension and a lot of people have wanted it for a long time. Etobicoke did also vote for him but as many times before I am sure this low hanging fruit will be...
Is it just me or does the interactive map hint at platforms larger than 100m and more to the size of standard TTC platform length ?
Idk how accurate the map is but it's just something I noticed I might just be nitpicking.
I think the relief comes from people who would normally be getting on the subway at union having an option to get on the subway before union and not have to go through union in the first place.
Someone who would be ending their trip at union in the first place wouldn't change trains to the...
