The venue plan can be done the most cost effective way. They just have to be creative and maybe get some sponsor ships on the building of the venues.

Exactly. Even the Aquatic center has to be about 3X the size so a new facility is needed there. The only new venue I can see being used is the field hockey venue but even that needs to double in capacity.

Dalton is a huge fan of the Olympics, which is the only vote you need from the Province. lol 2015 is when Canada emerges from the red. 2015 is two years after the next Toronto mayoral election so Rob Ford could be out of office which seems likely.

Are you kidding me? How on Earth are the Pan Am Games rubbish? Rio would have never got 2016 had it not gotten the 2007 Pan Am Games. Imagine in 2015 when the voting opens for 2024, the Pan Ams will be fresh in the mind. In 2007 the u-20 world cup (sort of like the pan ams of fifa) were held...

Maybe its a blessing in disguise, if 2015 goes smoothly with a spread out plan just imagine what can happen with a compact plan.

If I may add, if Toronto does bid for 2020 they will need a new swimming venue. The aquatic center being built at UTSC will only have 6,000 seats (as opposed to 10,000 in the bid book).

Hamilton sucks, why is it in this bid again? Move judo and taekwondo to Toronto (One in Ricoh Colisuem and another in the MTCC) and then move Volleyball to Mississauga. Build the Velodrome in Markham, and move the stadium to Toronto as a new venue for the Argonauts. ARE YOU LISTENING IAN TROOP!
