I have never been to a public consultation before. I have lived in Cliffside for a long time and have been supportive of the needs of our residents. I just don't think a correctional facility is a very good idea at this particular intersection. If you lived nearby, you may understand.
The NIMBYs are generally in more affluent neighborhoods than ours. Do you live in our neighborhood? I think Scarborough has done its fair share to date.
This is such a bad idea. I feel especially bad for Merge - imagine investing in this project and a correctional facility being built next door. As Cliffside homeowners, we need to make our voice heard on June 12. Why not install an indigenous healing lodge in the Beach, Riverdale...
How many post-dated rent cheques did you need to provide to the builder? Usually the number of cheques can be an indication of how long the builder thinks it will take to register the building and final closings
I remember seeing that water was included in the common expenses while it wasn't originally to be included. Common expenses are paid on the parking spot, locker and balcony space too. But $429 does seem high.. I thought the common expenses were estimated at 51 cents. Was the breakdown described?
While it took Haven over a year to reach required sales targets, remember it was 2012 when this project was launched. It was a much different condo market in 2012 than today's condo market.
