Good question Rocky...yes, it used to be Holiday Towers.

I don't even know if the "marketing" really makes a difference. This re-launch is price point driven. Make it super low and people will buy. The only problem is that if you read between the lines, they are essentially saying that the area/project is only worth this low price. This is scary also...

Red Hot Condos (Don Mills & Lawrence E., Camrost-Felcorp, 9s, Atkins) COMPLETE

Yes, we're talking about the same buildings. In the meantime, the City should really be placing a work order to have the buildings to the east demolished. They haven't been occupied for at least a year and they are run down. I wouldn't be surprised if local residents have already contacted...

Are you talking about the town flats behind the building, on the north side of Greenbelt Dr.? If so, it is rumoured that plans are in the works to demolish those buildings and re-develop the land.

They called me to book an appointment. They said that they have just started to make calls. Can't wait.

If there were setbacks on the south side, wouldn't the building would have a pyramid-like top? None-the-less, this was probably not a consideration because the site has a very small footprint.

I don't think the glass is special reflective glass. It may just be the angle and the sun reflecting on it. I'm loving the stone work on the ground floor.

Correction - I think there was a bank, and a house on the west side that occupied the land that this building is being built on.

Exactly. Sorry, when I said 'Spectacular', I was saying that with the big picture in mind too. I agree, it's hard to judge now, but I presume the building will end up looking very nice in every detail. As for the area, I think the building will fit very well. I personally love the look of...

This picture must be old. There is a better rendering of the building that's on the site hoarding, as well as the building itself looks spectacular so far.

No worries - that's good enough. I was more currious if there was an article in the news that I may have missed. Their huge sign outside the sales office was removed (this past weekend) - which was a good hint towards the direction they were headed. It's unfortunate - their presentation...

Interchange - do you have anything to support that news?? I wonder if they will sell me furnishings from their model suite at a discount!

Which projects are most likely to get cancelled?

They are probably 'by appointment only'. I wouldn't jump to conclusions, just because someone does not answer the phone there.

Roy, where are you getting your information from?

I drove by the site last weekend and saw Wentworth a-frames pointing to the sales office - contrary to popular thought - they may not in fact be closed.
