I wonder what the cost estimate would be for above grade extension to Roncesvalles, and ParkLawn? Perhaps we could close up close down Chester, Christie, Museum and other dead stations and use that budget for areas that actually have riders????

Well perhaps the 501/street car will run in the next decade into Humber Bay... As much as I would have love to see the OL go down the existing rail corridor, its seems like that won't happen. Perhaps the only solution is increased frequency of the Go train.

Thats the saddest part, they could easily use the existing rail linesGo corridor from the CNE/and extended into Humber Bay site.

Parklawn and lakeshore will become one of the most densily populated areas in GTA, outside of the core of Toronto. Its logical progression for the OL to extend itself out to Parklawn. Humber Bay is is already plagued with poor transit as is, with excess of over 40 towers already and another 18...

The OL should be extended from Ontario Place to Parklawn and Lakeshore.

Personally I like the design from the previous Crestford approval. NOT to mention that giant waterhole will be gone soon.

Great vision, great style, great location, transit access, relief road, waterfront, ...this will be Toronto's 2nd downtown!

I love it and I hope the city doesnt scale it back. It's always good to have optimism for ambitious projects...but then again we know what the city will do

This is horrible to read, we all wanted to see this project rise above grade.

The 2150 Lake Shore Project will be a big success and will add great value to all in the area, with the Relief Road, the Double Left Lane for the Gardiner on westbound ramp and GO station.

I also live in the area, and I agree that the traffic congestion is from: 1. The Left turn onto the Gardiner westbound entrance 2. The Left turn off Park Lawn onto eastbound Lake Shore 3. The Gardiner off ramp onto Park Lawn south The Legion Rd proposal was based upon a study in 2002, before...
