I wonder what the cost estimate would be for above grade extension to Roncesvalles, and ParkLawn?
Perhaps we could close up close down Chester, Christie, Museum and other dead stations and use that budget for areas that actually have riders????

As much as I would have love to see the OL go down the existing rail corridor, its seems like that won't happen.
Perhaps the only solution is increased frequency of the Go train.
Parklawn and lakeshore will become one of the most densily populated areas in GTA, outside of the core of Toronto. Its logical progression for the OL to extend itself out to Parklawn. Humber Bay is is already plagued with poor transit as is, with excess of over 40 towers already and another 18...
I love it and I hope the city doesnt scale it back. It's always good to have optimism for ambitious projects...but then again we know what the city will do
The 2150 Lake Shore Project will be a big success and will add great value to all in the area, with the Relief Road, the Double Left Lane for the Gardiner on westbound ramp and GO station.
I also live in the area, and I agree that the traffic congestion is from:
1. The Left turn onto the Gardiner westbound entrance
2. The Left turn off Park Lawn onto eastbound Lake Shore
3. The Gardiner off ramp onto Park Lawn south
