that's a lot of density for a small area with no public transit happening within the next decade and trafic is already hell... whoever is planning this needs to be fired

The people in charge of this are paid a lot of money and they have no incentive to do anything quickly. Even if they got full financing from the government, they’d find ways to drag it out to secure their salaries

Amen. They look ugly and they take valuable space which would be better suited as a park or housing.
