You obviously haven't been on the 407. As a 407 user, I and many other daily 407 users gladly pay the toll for a pleasant drive as oppossed to being stuck in gridlock on the 401. Tolls should not be used to force people into not driving, it's obvious it doesn't work as car use is already...

I'd pay a toll on the DVP if it means that I could go 120kmh in rush hour and if they added capacity (added lanes, fixed the bottleneck at the 401) But, what will happen is a government cash grab by putting a toll and not providing anything in return (ie. $2 to drive on the outdated DVP...

If this is true, putting Chinese brokers in priority over other brokers (by giving Chinese brokers a preview lunch), than what happened with the lines was deserved and RIGHT!!!. There should never have been any priority given to one ethnic group over another! Shame on Great Gulf and Baker!

What happens when many of todays condo buyers start having families? There are not too many condos that can support a family (without paying a ton of money). This is the biggest threat to the condo market, and it's building to a perfect storm (high supply, no demand)

True, BUT, beware, if you rent a privately owned condo/townhome/home, many owners will not rent to anyone with pets, not much can really be done about this other than move on to the next option.

I hope this is true, I've never met a more arrogant person in my life!! The city will be better without Kyle Rae! (I've worked with Kyle on a few issues and he is difficult to deal with)

I agree, I live in York Region, GO Train in to downtown. On the weekends, I do everything I can to avoid 416 due to the horrible weekend traffic. Plus, in York Region, we have all the shops, restaurants, and entertainment that I rarely have to go into the city on weekends.

Traffic is BRUTAL on Hwy 7 between Bayview and Woodbine from 7am - 7pm !! Beware!
