Zooming in on the carpool lot in that render, I really hope they didn't remove the bus loop that was in the old plan. This could be a crucial transfer node for the 17 GO bus. The Aldershot detour is just so convoluted and unnecessary. This much density should warrant another route anyway...

Now that this is finished, and with the LRT drawings out for a while now, what do we know about this new lot that will be created next door once the traffic circle is removed?

I don’t see why they wouldn’t. The original renders of 1620 Main Street show the trees that have just been planted there. Maybe, if this building can get built as fast, there could be a chance the trees get planted before 2027.

It might not look like a lot, but those 9 new trees and 3m of added sidewalk are going to make the experience of walking down this stretch of Barton so much nicer.

Not to start a debate, but I wonder if people here can agree that The Bow in Calgary fits into that conversation? It has always reminded me of this project with the Diamond pattern

Hamilton seriously needs an update to the Google Earth imagery. That Beasley police station was built like 5 years ago. And as of now, the towers would be completely obstructed by 75 James in the last rendering. Why do we still have such outdated imagery?

I drew a little mockup of what I mean: The red line is what I mean by relinking Sutton, and the yellow line is what I mean by connecting it to Corporate. And then Sutton could still link up like this:
