The Sheppard Subway should go to Rouge Hill to provide the only uptown commuter rail option.

Having Sheppard and McCowan as a subway interchange could turn that intersection into another Yonge & Bloor or Yonge & Eglinton.

Having it extended along the western GO corridor could prove redundant. Maybe another western alignment thats no already covered.

But this extension is not included in todays transit funding map.

Or before closing the SRT build a spur of the Stouffville Line and have a shuttle train service from Kennedy to STC.

Perhaps the elevated part could remain elevated but covered over like the High Park and Castle Frank sections on Line 2. And cover it...

Perhaps they could implement those trackless trams to fit better.

Perhaps they should wait until Eglinton East LRT is complete.

The LRT lines should have a separate designation from the subways.

Perhaps they could build a replica of the original building and have it as the station entrance.

Perhaps the MiWay busses can pull into that new terminal but then continue further west to Islington Station as it did all along to...
