Excuse my ignorance, but at the last DRP meeting was it not recommended for a redesign of the massing in relation to the CN Tower? I know the DRP can only give recommendations, so was it just ignored and the developer will go ahead with this design?

I actually think the balconies could have saved it, if they were opaque/coloured. The shape is at least interesting, but it's lost with the transparent glass.

The subtle boldness of these towers are really winning me over...It's sad that phase 2 will literally overshadow the redeeming qualities of them from the west side. They're gonna look especially great through the Bremner Blvd valley:

I wouldn't read that much into it...kids in the 80s/90s played in arcades, and I'm sure there was someone saying the same thing then.
