Apparently a tower got approved as seen on some city planning. Can't confirm since the dev application portal for the city is janky af, but it seems as such. When it'll get shovels in the ground I got no clue.

They said no official decision as of now. I'd imagine probably rental too but we'll have to wait and see.

Attended the meeting. The current renders for it look WAY better. The fixed up the podium from that weird jank to a more solid wall. Waiting for when I get my hands on the new renders and I'll post them here when I do. Also didn't know there's an underground river following underneath the site...

They lobotomized it. Honestly I’m not surprised. Toronto seems allergic to colour outside of the rare red brick facade.

Is there any chance at all the architecture of the site will change? I got no issues with the idea of a tower of such size in the lot, but maaaaaaaaan it’s ugly. Despite my love of urban planning I haven’t gotten a good understanding of the application process.

New render looks SHIIIIIIITTTTT. Its like somebody frankensteined that one tower with the italian resturant on high park and a generic white monolith. That better be changed up in the permit process.
