Almost 15 years since I opened this thread. Who says we can't do big things fast? The subway extension delay kept this from happening.
Ford should push the get the Subway up to Steeles as fast as possible if not up to Hwy7.
How many residents will be housed in these three locations?
Yonge &...
Yes. Thanks for the clarification. I live just a few homes off the image I attached. I guess the pink notes that. There are so many proposals they should be pushing forward quickly with the subway extension
Tough to keep up with all the new proposals. Ford should push to accelerate the Yonge subway expansion so developments can get started.
I noticed in the image attached there is another infill development proposed for the south west corner of this image. I had no idea about that one.
As always...
Hey Steve. Saw this posting on my walk yesterday. It's the auto mall just north of Steeles. How many units do you figure could be built at this corner when all these proposals are done?
Missing from the database are 7080 Yonge (Acura North) site with 652 units and 100 Steeles with 2050 units. Additionally there is a 900 unit midrise just east on Yonge at Dudley on Steeles in Markham.
Looks like 10,000 units in planning stages
I saw this posted this week at the northern section of Torgan Group's Promenade Mews. 2 towers of 28 and 30 stories sitting atop 2 story commercial/office podium. Part of 7 towers planned on the site and among 27 towers that could one day populate this Promenade mall block
Another proposal to redevelop a strip mall on the north side of Steeles west of Yonge. 2080 new residential units in 6 towers ranging in heights from 18-44 stories.
Along with the Gupta proposal at the corner of Yonge and Steeles and 100 Steeles W proposal this will add around 5800 new units to...
Here is an example of a home I just sold for a client in the Heritage District. This house is not itself listed as heritage but since it's in the zone the addition had to be sympathetic to the style of the neighbourhood and the front of the home left mostly original. There may be an opportunity...
A quick glimpse (3 min video) of the recent growth of Toronto's skyline over the last decade and into the next. Completed projects and in development of buildings at least 492 ft (150M)
The graphics are just placeholders but you get the idea.
This project is now dead.
Local ratepayer groups and councilors got the developer to voluntarily withdraw the project. They will redevelop the site without any residential component.
