The westward expansion needs to come as well. It makes 0 sense why they did not consider building it sooner.

I hope they do build it above ground. This project above Steeles is a waste of money. Who is going to commute from Markham to the subway then all the way downtown? Just makes 0 sense. If this will save money, by all means go for it.

Not entirely sure why there is a fascination of expanding the subway to York Region. Richmond Hill has direct Go access into the heart of Toronto, so why would anyone sit in a subway and commute longer down a subway line? I know not everyone is going downtown, but you have to imagine the numbers...

Mark my words, this extension into York Region will be a mistake. It makes sense into Steeles but not north of it.

Anyone know the proposed changes for the 37 route?

I have used Pioneer Village station at various times during the day (both weekdays/weekends) going southbound and the train is always empty. Maybe 20-30 people inside. There was no reason (except political) to extend the line into Vaughan. What a waste of money.

Have the station names been finalized?

Etobicoke North gets the shaft again -__- its so unfair. 1.5 hours to travel downtown and no improvements that will reduce that time. Why is it that smart track cannot be extended to Etobicoke North Go Station?
