Can the builder do this? Is there anything we can do legally to protect ourselves from occupancy fees, if people can't even use the units when occupancy dates are provided for move in?

I purchased a unit on the nineth floor, we were asked to submit our pre-structural design submissions this week. They said that we would be completing our paint and tile selections this summer. Just an fyi, in case others on this thread have purchased units as well.

I see... so - you received it a year before your confirmed occupancy date.
So in theory - based on their projected occupancy date they have given me (which is January 2026) , I should receive the accessories notice in January of 2025?

Did you receive your kitchen and accessories planning meeting at least 6months before your final occupancy date or earlier/later? What was that timeline like for you?
