Not in the “Market” area per se…
I think we’re talking about the recent closures in the York Concourse Food Court: Scaccia & Bangkok Buri…
We also lost other businesses over the last few years; mostly in the *Front Street Promenade*, yes? Calii Love is one place I miss. Saudade has now gone too...
This is actually huge. The barest minimum signage leading to, from and within the lifts for those with bags, strollers, scooters or walkers.
I have tried to go through the channels for years now but the City’s accessible wayfinding has always been so inexplicably absent that I can’t handle...
Scaccia and Bangkok Buri? What a shame. I used to love breakfast at the former -- before the Whatchamacallit -- and the cauliflower rice with curry at the latter.
Has something closed in Union Food Court in/below the York Concourse?
The interactive map still shows it as fully occupied -- [choose "Retail"]: https://torontounion.ca/eatshop/station-map/

PSssst: Did y'all see the hoarding marked for Tim Horton's in the .... VIA Concourse!?
Yes, I saw online for the Union project that the main clock and displays plus the info booth in the Great Hall are still listed for eventual removal. It's not clear when or exactly what alternatives are envisioned.
Not looking forward to them disappearing -- though obviously they need...
Still not clear who, if anyone, has taken responsibility for the Google Maps depiction of the station.
Maybe this pet peeve of mine is irrelevant as no user expects to use Google for wayfinding inside the place -- except compare to other malls in the city...
Union is rather a mess, with...
Uhhh -- pretty sure the Bovine Steak and Sushi House will be where the signed hoarding for it is located: in the East Wing, just east of the Great Hall.
If this can be confirmed -- somewhere in addition to our friend Google -- that means no Steak joint or even large resto in the north side of...
The Google maps detail in the station now has multi-floor diagrams but it's still a bit of a jumble. Anyone know how to suggest updates for this kind of building-specific mapping? I've made corrections for street-level locations before, but not places with multiple levels and I've not been able...
Yes, I have TTC and GO in mind, both of which make such efforts to post updates that I wonder if there isn't a by-law or regulation compelling the City to do likewise.
A moveable sign was added in the Blue Route so that those exiting the new access from VIA Concourse can continue to the Bus Terminal with less bewilderment. Also spotted a GO employee stationed in that corridor by the doors.
I guess we can call this new link the Blue Route-VIA connector...
Is there a notification site/service where the City lists elevators that are not in service?
There's a half-floor elevator in the Bay Concourse [near Tim's] that was blocked off yesterday. Apparently working again this morning.
Other lifts have been off-line for longer periods, such as between...
I'd heard "an oyster bar" at one point. Last week I saw posters on walls in the East Wing heralding some kind of steak/seafood resto. If that's due for the East Wing then what goes in the Great Hall...?
For those who lean "no retail" what do you envision for the entire length of that space in...
