    Toronto Bayview Village Redevelopment | 113.99m | 30s | bcIMC | DIALOG

The thing about Bayview Village is that no one who shops there will walk or take the TTC there. It's all visits by (a usually very expensive) car. I can't imagine this construction and the subsequent conversion of parking lots into condos not having a negative impact on the mall's business, but...

It's much like the days after 9/11. Many then thought air travel and dense urban living in fashionable centres would never recover, but once the fear and bad memories subsided, things went the other way.

Good to see even more non-restaurant options coming in (DSW), as a variety of shops is important in creating a place that people travel to repeatedly and spend time in. I've been noticing lately how the mall is consistently populated and with a diverse mix of people. It seems like a healthy mix...

When I first saw it in person I thought it was a temporary thing for the block party. But if I understand correctly this is a permanent art installation. I agree, in that I don't see the point of it. It seems like the idea came from someone who was painfully eager to be trendy, combining the...

The LCBO at Emerald Park is nice, but the building itself is a bit of a dump. The stairway from the subway is filthy, there's an exterior entrance door that has been boarded up with wood for months, and the accessibility button doesn't work on the remaining door. So many of the stores lack both...

Agree. Lawrence is much nicer. Nothing wrong with Asian places but when that's virtually the entirety of independent businesses, it gets dull.
