All purchasers will get their deposits back. Downside to those original purchasers is that there are no interest payments on this principal and Pemberton will now be able to re-sell the units at a higher sale price.

Walked by earlier today and hoarding is going up around the site. One lane of Adelaide is gone, with the cycle track moved over. This actually looks fairly awkward just west of the site as the cycle track is between a through lane and right turn lane onto Duncan. I hope that people don't...

TPS is allowing pedestrians to walk south on Bay from Richmond to Temperance street, where those buildings affected have rear access points. Makes for a bit of a dusty walk in with the INDX and EY Tower construction going on.

The Fox used to be at this site before construction started (in the heritage building). This location always had a different (and better) atmosphere than other Fox locations, hopefully they can retain a bit of that feel in the new one.

    CityPlace

Great to see CityPlace get another unique restaurant. Tuscani, do you have any knowledge of what may go into the old TD or Spot Coffee locations on Bremner just east of Spadina? It's unfortunate to see two of the larger retail units sit empty.

No photos, but it looks like a Starbucks is going in just south of Fort York Blvd on Spadina. It's that shorter slab building (The Gallery?) in one of the units which used to be "Concord Customer Care." As for Hunter's Landing, I've got to say that it has been a pretty big success for the...

This part of Bathurst starts looking even better once you consider the projects that are proposed for just north of the rail tracks.

A big reason for the long construction time on Eglinton is to spread borrowing over a longer time period giving a project a lower net present value cost to the province. With more upfront spending this could be accelerated.

For what it's worth, I saw an almost identical sign in Manhattan near the Met on Fifth last October. That sign (in the same/font colours) read "Like much of Fifth Avenue, we're having some work done." Couldn't tell you which building (although it was very close to the Met) - maybe Brookfield...

In what world is Sugar Beach mediocre? It's small, yes, but it has to be one of the most unique and interesting public places in the city. The patio behind the Corus building is a fantastic spot along the water right next to the beach, and urban theatre (ships docking, unloading sugar, etc.)...

Toronto Spectra at Concord CityPlace | 123.13m | 39s | Concord Adex | RAW Design

Couldn't agree more. As time goes on hopefully we can see more organic growth of neighbourhood shops/restaurants/bars. The suggested streetcar/lrt gets on through Fort York/Bremner would help immensely as well

KPMG also has a substantial office location at Yonge and York Mills - there could be some people shifted from that location.

Yeah, no kidding. Just look how roads like 65th and 79th ruin Central Park! In all seriousness, once (if?) QQE is remade to feature proper transit and landscaping, it will actually add to the park in my opinion. QQE isn't much of an auto throughfare and the street life (likely mainly...

Kinda late to the party - but this previous summer I would regularly commute in from Long Branch in Etobicoke (on the 501 car), attend an afternoon Jays game, afterwards rent a Bixi to head over to Sugar beach and enjoy the remaindedr of the afternoon relaxing here either on the beach watching...
