This is why we're always grouchy with other builds - with Core urban and a select few others the quality difference is just so noticeable and appreciated. Buildings like these deserve to be properly restored :) Will the dormers actually be used as units though, or will it just be storage space..?

Oh wow they are actually redoing the existing dormers too - I was wondering about that as the new ones seem to be a slightly different style than the old ones

Yup - and they look pretty damn good - it woulda been nice if they had gone the extra step and restored them PROPERLY.

...that is one UGLY building.. well.. at least the blue-grey part is - if that had been I dunno.. maybe black? And symmetrical windows in the white part it could have looked a lot nicer, in my humble opinion.

I think you're forgetting who MADE this building - Vrancor doesn't have a good history of first floor.. anything.

Yes I am sure they will - those are easier to do and quite larger too. But it makes one wonder how they did the minor arched ones so easily back in the day.. Also can't wait to se the new cornice.. I've always been a bit curious how they mount them... or do they fall off over time? Is this why...

Am I the only person who feel like the left building cheaped out with the windows? I mean those bows at the top were there for a reason - to put a frame in to have square windows in just feels like it defeats the entire purpose - I mean I get it, it's a helluva lot cheaper that way.. but still...

Those arches are pretty cool, even if the rest is pretty generic.. Although the beveled cornice wrap around the balconies is rather interesting..

Thaank you McMaster for making a building worth looking at and not just another generic glass tower! The units are very.. white hehe - not a huge fan of lack of separation between kitchen and living space but that seems to be the trend these days.. nor am I a fan of no window in the bathroom -...
