It's going to be a crazy next week for them to make certain that this project is actually complete and not have workers still building after it actually opens.
They might be having issues with the concrete slabs. They looked heavily bowed, so much so that for a while they placed large concrete blocks on top of them to push them down.
Mud Street was originally going to be an extension of the LINC but those plans fell off the wheels over two decades ago and now its just a thoroughfare with islands containing dying trees. Hamilton will never have the money to alter this.
Same. It looked like they were just finishing demo last week and now there is a crane. I don't even remember them pouring the foundation for the crane but obviously they must have.
Thanks for posting this. I liked the original proposal but this fits the neighbourhood better. Its probably best that there is no balconies along the Main St W frontage and the brick could look sharp if executed well.
It appears that every single project minus the Gardiner rebuild is faced with the same issue, workers not actually working at their site. No wonder these timelines are meaningless as you can't complete something if you are not actually at work.
