Not sure if you're referring to Health One or the place above it, but my sister works at Health One and is transferring to / helping set up this location. I think they're a few days behind schedule but may be open now.
For some reason I'm more excited about this subway station and what the project will mean for the intersection than any other development in the city at the moment.
Walked by on Wednesday and the lane closures are now (at least partially) in place! It's all moving pretty fast.
Thanks for the...
Unit plans. This is right in my neighbourhood (I pass by it multiple times a week) and am curious what the floor plans for the units look like, if those are out there anywhere. I checked in the database but it didn't appear to have any.
I remember this also being the case in the early days of Dundas Square. I was once taking photos from there (for UT) shortly after the square opened, and security asked what I was doing in a confrontational manner. It's probably just a bit of over-zealousness that'll taper off after time.
Ahh yes, I see that in the rendering here. It wasn't present in the render from the Metrolinx newsletter.
It's fantastic news. Well, seemingly not news - but to me it is. For the last few days I've been (erroneously) pretty annoyed/distracted by it. Yeah, some strange things keep me up at...
I think it's a fair assumption to make when the rendering depicts a 1 story building. I came here to find out why it's only going to be 1 story since the Metrolinx community consultation rendering shows that. I'd wager to bet that 9 people out of 10 would assume the building shown is the...
I have to disagree with this. I spent 10 days in Tokyo two summers ago and found it to be quite easy to navigate. That map is insane but once you've taken a moment to look at it you can plan your upcoming trip quickly. It's fairly easy to figure out considering how large the system is and...
Thanks Dan. Didn't realize it was a new delivery. I had assumed the 4th car to start running in service was actually one of the first two test vehicles being put into production. Though I guess they both get shipped back to Bombardier for fixups before making it onto the route.
So we have 4 of the new streetcars running by the sounds of it. :)
A number of pages back, someone mentioned that Bombardier would be ramping up production and expecting to deliver 2 per month. Has that started yet, or do we not start seeing them until April?
In my opinion, Ford doesn't have a chance, and I think there's even a small possibility of a 3rd place finish for him.
The way I see it, it's a split vote in the suburbs between Tory and Ford. Downtown may have a split vote between Chow and Tory, but likely only because many of those that...
