    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Mike Harris cut spending and was vilified. Ford decided to reduce the rate of increase to below inflation (see 2019/20 dot on graph). Basically, anyone who follows a terrible economic leader gets blamed - it's what happens when a public does not care about their future.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

This was likely advice for Trudeau. Ford inherited a dumpster fire from Wynne that had to be addressed. Ford should have had a mini-budget last fall, which was a mistake on his part. Here's how bad Wynne left the province (look at her last 2 years trying to buy the election).

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

You mean when Trudeau was so petty that he rallied and enflamed Quebec separatist just to prevent Mulroney from completing the Constitution properly with Quebec inclusion.

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

Trudeau and the Liberals somehow gets credit for destroying separatists, although the only separation referendum, and the only separatist PQ election majorities, occurred under the Liberals. Much like Justin is doing, Pierre emboldened the separatist because the media portrayed him as the only...

    PM Justin Trudeau's Canada

Not sure which WWII you are referring to. The one I usually think of ended in 1945. Both Chretien and Mulroney have some pretty good and major achievements. But for Mulroney not tackling the debt and for Chretien the major scandal coming from his office. I had a hard time placing them...

Ontario Line (was Relief Line South, in Design)

Toronto subway ridership dropped 25% in the early 1990's. If a similar thing occurs, I don't think that many will be campaigning on spending tons on subways. As long as governments are smart and pay of debt when times are good - as was done by Harris, Chretien, Martin and Harper - then...

Ontario Line (was Relief Line South, in Design)

So basically, this was the plan from 100 years ago. and this was the plan of 50 years.

President Donald Trump's United States of America

Remember this story from a few years ago. Harvard study: Media has been largely negative on Trump. It showed that Fox had the most balanced coverage in the USA.

    Transit Fantasy Maps

Maybe the new streetcar tracks could be put at the curb lane so pedestrian don't have to get to the centre of the street to board - assuming of course that there are no bike lanes and people obey the no stopping/standing/parking signs.

TTC: Scarborough Subway Extension (formerly LRT replacement) (City of Toronto, Design Phase)

Sorry, but I don't see Finch as more important than the Relief Line. Between UP Express serving Weston, and Spadina subway serving Finch/Keele and Jane/Steeles, the north-west was not faring that poorly. PS. and ECLRT going to Pearson.

TTC: Scarborough Subway Extension (formerly LRT replacement) (City of Toronto, Design Phase)

I thought the B-D extension West to Honeydale (427) was a priority for just this reason.

Ontario Line (was Relief Line South, in Design)

If only we would have built Transit City - it was the absolute priority for Toronto. It would have added no transit to old Toronto.

President Donald Trump's United States of America

Trump succeeded in making "the squad" the face of the Democrats and now they are viewed as ultra left wing. This is quite disgusting by Rashida Tlaib. After getting acceptance to go - she changed her mind. She used her ailing 90 year old grandmother for political purposes. It just...
