Or to just continue the 413 straight past Claremont to meet up with a 412 extension. Even with the expropriation costs, it would be cheaper than the 401 tunnel.
With the $15 billion investment at Honda in Alliston, that town is set to grow.
Is it feasible to see this line eventually extended there, possibly ending in Allandale Barrie?
The City of Barrie is planning on realigning Lakeshore Drive to the dirt strip to enlarge Centennial Park.

Any news on the development taking place around the new Allandale Waterfront Go station? Last I heard (late 2011) there was a debate on the scale of density but mix-use was proposed. I'm hopeful that it becomes a catalyst of growth for the southend of Barrie's urban growth area.
