The OMB site is updated with a decision. Looks like the Grid building needs to be 12.5 meters from the south property line so that the two towers are 25m apart. The decision indicates a tower floorplate of 507 sq. metres. Also mentions that a section 37 agreement needs to be finalized.
Yes not so sure what goes on within the IOC, but the timing may be right for a Toronto bid. Allowing the use of mainly existing facilities is a game changer. They may vote for Toronto as the safe option for the IOC and it is no coincidence that there were many IOC members here for the pan am games.

It still feels unfinished, but definitely more polished than before. The new East grandstand is massive and they often struggle to fill it. I am sure that won't be a problem should TFC make the playoffs (this looks to be the year…), also MLSE was talking about having an NHL winter classic...
Looks fantastic. We need more of this in the city. Studies have shown that spending in smaller type retail increases about 20 percent after converting a street to a more pedestrian friendly environment.
