Also trains are limited to 30 at all above ground sections because of snow ig? Has been like this for last 3 days (ie before the snow). Literally going half the speed on some sections on the university line...

TSP aside, they just operate it very slowly. I doubt we ever got near the speed limit of Finch despite there being long sections of unencumbered track.

Anyone know why has line 1 been so slow on all the above ground sections on the Yonge side for the past few days?

No literally there’s so much space to expand the Yonge line up a few cms.

I was trying to compare to downtown streetcar routes. Shame that you noticed this with the 36 though…

I suspect it will be much better. Line 6 runs in its own ROW with significantly larger stop spacing then our streetcar system, and, although there’s no signal priority, trams should also pass intersections with parallel tracks much faster as line 6 uses a different technology to our streetcars...

Anyone know anything about the schedule for the park? The city’s updates page is not very helpful last I checked, stating that the park should be done by end of year as it seems to be part of a batch of new parks.
