nothing wrong with living in the basement of your parent's house, almost rent-free. You can save a lot of money. Some people don't have that luxury, I had to fight and scratch tooth and nail living on my own since I was 17, so consider yourself lucky.
If you guys haven't figured it out yet, this is all staged by Baker Real Estate marketing department.
in one queue, that they are all Chinese/Oriental agents and on the other side they are all Hindi/Hebrew speaking agents...
well since my previous thread was closed.
Let's bring up the update:
One day after TTC voted to increase fare, 2 major disruption occurred
1. Wednesday Nov 18, At noon, college station subway closed, due to some accident, closing northbound and southbound from Union to Bloor

yes, i have... but considering the tube network is more massive, London is much bigger than Toronto, in area as well as in population (plus tourists) the tube is better than TTC
ugh how bout there are too many to name?
- frequent delays in rush hours
- overcrowded
- dirty cars, dirty stations
- rude, un-professional staff. To people who actually pay their salary they should've been more polite
- strikes/ threats of strike almost every single year even after price...
as I expected, people that have traveled, worked, and lived in other countries can testify how ridiculously backward TTC is in comparison to other systems
don't you tell me to travel boy, been to over 20 countries, worked in 5, lived in 3.
And yes by all comparison, TTC is the worst. you comparing the tube and TTC, are you sane? the tube network is like 10X bigger than TTC, and yet the service is still better

Angry Riders Plan TTC Protest
The price is expensive, the service is horrible, horrendous. The staff is rude, the ticket collectors look dirty, smelly, very un-professional. And you know what? 1,150...
no nothing like that, you will neighbors in the building, it makes sense to give them a heads-up if there's some sort of noise coming out of your unit.
But again, I don't know for sure, find out more details from your RE lawyer
Johnzz, the majority of this forum is doom and gloomers. I think they have an erection or something predicting or searching for real estate bad news. Nothing but the negative coming out of them, sad really.
It doesn't need city special permit or anything like that but I think any kind of construction that creates noise would require approval from the building board of directors.
