Aura really is a Jekyll/Hyde creation. Fortunately, Dr Jekyll is on top.

Yup... I don't think the building's detractors saw this coming... It's a fine (not perfect) addition to the skyline... It suffered thru the pains of somewhat unrealistic expectations, but ultimately is a winner, IMO...

I suspect a lot of us feel similarly about Aura. It had incredible potential, but it didn't live up to that potential so many were very disappointed. However, the LED lighting on top looks wonderful, so we're glad that at least when it is dark out, Aura looks amazing. We're happy that at least one aspect of the building lives up to its potential, i.e. the crown.

I can see OCAD there ;-) ...if you ignore that, I personally think the new sick kids building is pretty nice.
