This thing looks terrible.

Appearances are invariably a subjective thing I just reviewed the last several pages to see people's takes and I would call the reviews 'mixed bag'. A few liking it, a few less so..... a lot of 'could be better, could be worse'.

I feel like I'm in that last camp. It does not live up the initial renders, and so many relatively subtle changes could have made it so much better..........yet. ...

At one point I thought it was going to look much worse than it does, and I'm rather relieved, its only 'meh'. LOL

The most challenging (unlikeable) bit to me is the grade expression and streetscaping...... ok, hold that, I really do the find the lobby a tad garish.

Still.............coulda been worse....

It's very hard to look at, IMO. And awkwardly at odds with everything else around it...in addition to being rather soul sucking against the sky. It almost feels like the Nobu's pointless cousin.

Edit: Your angry face does not change my opinion @SkylineHorizons.

Jesus, the full size houses you can currently get for $1.3M in this City...

UT may have been too early, but, as almost always, it was correct:

No, no, let's see more of the "views" from the secondary bedroom:

That looks more like someone got shucked and jived to live in that. Like a prison cell in the sky.

I find this an interesting building, in that, it is objectively ugly, and way too busy with its mullions and windowwall partitions, but at the same time, it's warmer colour is a reprieve from the more generic shlock sround here like 8 Cumberland.

Ultimately however, its just another dud in this part of Yorkville, especially at street level.
This just has a nicer colour (IMO) than some of the other towers around here. And the massing is decent.

It dominates my view in a bad way, the apartments are tiny and very overpriced on the resale market, and to top it all off, they chose this inappropriate typeface.

It's got the height but it doesn't have the looks. For those that bought here, it seems like a descent building but the criticism is based on comparing it to better local designers and top tier design in architecture, which Toronto should continue to push for. For example, the buildings next door and nearby by local firm Aa are much better in my opinion.

This is perfect for the Iranian mullah’s extended family to ‘temporarily’ alight until we see which way things go! 😂
