Glad they’re not compromising on quality despite the ongoing uncertainty. The worst that can happen is we’ll end up with a gorgeous (dare I say unmatched in quality?) 85-storey tower instead of a gorgeous 91-storey tower.That looks gorgeousnow I see why this tower will be a masterpiece

A full slate of photos taken today, Friday (Oct. 4). Almost everything is up a level since last week, and the first louvre exteriors for the mechanical levels have been installed, as also seen in other photos above. Several new segments have been added to the crane as the tower core looks like it is up to level 71 or 72. The floor of level 73 is 249 metres, so that 300m level is getting closer. Seems we will see the attachment points for the next set of hangers emerge soon from under the blue scaffolds, at the top of level 70, as the bases of the super columns on level 69 are now visible. The blue corner forms below also are up as floors 61/62 are poured. More of the skin has been installed, as we can see level 41 installed on the south and east sides, as the east Rail Climbing System (RCS) has moved up a level, to 42. The other RCSs are also up a level since last week, the north to 41, the west to 40. And, for the first time, we see the final panelling for the louvres on a mechanical level, with the work mostly done on the north facing side of the 1st mechanical level.

The view from Cumberland, east of Bay, including close-ups of the top and rising north and west RCSs. Views from Bloor Street just east of Yonge, then from Bloor west at Bedford, and from down Devonshire through a construction site. Finally, a set of views of the newly installed skin on the 1st mechanical level north Louvre. The final shot shows the installed panels (on the left) compared to the unfinished west section.

I was just thinking, I really wish this would have been bult to the approved higher height because it's so nice. I guess what I'm trying to say is because it's such a beautiful building, not being bult to the higher approved height makes it that much more difficult to swallow.
