ONGOING CONSTRUCTION:
In addition to Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and the excavation of test pits used to map existing utility locations in Cooksville, you may have already noticed that the remaining medians are being removed at intersections where existing traffic signals are currently being replaced with temporary traffic signals. These works are paving the way for utility relocations and the construction of the elevated guideway scheduled to begin in the second and third quarters of this year.
While crews will use the boulevard to avoid lane closures, there may be temporary right lane closures for up to four hours to accommodate the work.
SAFETY
Safety is our number one priority and a shared responsibility. Please note and follow construction signage as you walk, cycle or drive along Hurontario Street. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to Metrolinx Community Relations team at 416-202-7500 or email Peel@metrolinx.com
