This is a work of art. Both the interiors and exteriors are done so thoughtfully with a focus on people and warmth. In my opinion, THIS is a rare example of good contemporary design. Quayside was another rare example of beautiful and human-oriented contemporary design.

Thankfully, something far less institutional looking.
 
It won't win any awards, but I think it's fine. Could have been much worse, and is a huge improvement over the 70's bunker that used to be there.
 
I like what they've done with the public realm outside this new CAMH building in Toronto. There's a decently wide sidewalk, a buffer of green between it and the road, no overhead wiring, no clutter, and they installed nice lamp posts. The only negative is that the pavement is concrete but it can be overlooked as they got those other elements right. It's something they could easily replicate on every street.
 
So like, are the fins on the north elevation supposed to make us think 'jail'?
