I'm a little disappointed that they only extended 2 of those Kit Kat bar...I mean, super-columns, when I was expecting more would be added today.

After all column extensions are up they'll put formwork around the columns as well as a form 'table' for the atrium's ceiling, which will have to go pretty high.
Then I think they'll install the same massive flat steel connectors to bind the columns together like they had at grade before they poured concrete over it.

So another super heavy duty plate to go in, I would guess with attachment points for the angled support columns and attachment points for structure for the angled supports for the next floor. But I would imagine it would be square vs the octagon here

Those are some seriously high ceilings. Having actual people there next to the real thing really puts it into perspective. This is going to be such a great space.

Ah yes, I remember March 6. A little more hand washing and a little less hand shaking, but otherwise in the before times.
(I thought they were doing below-grade work then. Or was work stopped entirely? I remember it was for a time but forgot when.)
