Lots of activity on site today. They’re busy tying down rebar. Asked when the next big pour is, worker said probably next week.

I confirmed that the slab is about 2 ft below ground level and probably won’t be at grade for months. There’s a staircase installed for access:

The schematics show a false floor to be installed at a later time.

At least the making the grade contest is finished before the Stop Work Order had been enacted.

Stop work order for non compliance...removal of previous work order from site .. another violation....etc etc...am I surprised? No..I've had this all pegged for ages now. Pretty difficult for the usual group of apologists to ride in and defend this incompetence.

Amazing? Not really...more like unique....comes with a lot years as a commercial GC with the largest retailer on the planet as my number one client.

I dunno man, everyone has qualifications on this board. Not everyone feels the urge to tell us all what they are and how "unique" that supposedly makes them. And the fact remains we can still be wrong from time to time, despite our credentials. Your penultimate post just smacked of bitter schadenfreude, and that was what I was remarking about.
