Drone and crane,
FYI...
I walked through the parking lot today and joined a small conversation with the drone operator. His purpose is to photograph and video the crane for a promotional video, I presume he’s hired by the crane manufacturer. This crane is the first of its model, from Italy. It features a strengthen cage over the cab to facilite the extended boom without cables from a tall truss over the cab. The cables at the back anchored to the low weights counter balance the boom. This achieves a shorter crane profile.
As for the drone flying, he mention aviation regulations limit his flight height to 400 feet. Planes are regulated to no lower than 500 feet. So there is a 100 foot space where neither is allowed to fly.
Fun, fun, fun. No other pics today, I’m too busy.
Cheers.

Then why is this listed as being 95 stories in the thread title?

I believe this thread is for the whole complex, with the height of the tallest tower being listed.

Perhaps it should be split once the other phases launch, similar to M City in Mississauga.

Thread is for the full complex, unsure how soon they'll be starting the next phase - may end up being a site similar to The Well where multiple towers are being built at once.
The thread currently represents the whole development. I could see us potentially separating off another thread for the commercial buildings south of Harbour Street once they get going. UT members historically have posted images of multi-phase projects in one thread unless there's something obvious separating them, a physical barrier like a street for example, so I'd be surprised if we split apart the thread for the three connected residential towers on the north side of the block. At M City, the towers are on different blocks. We're just keeping M1 and M2 in one thread as they are going up simultaneously and are the same design.

^ it's just like u guys have 3 separate threads for sugar wharf project next door because one is an office and phase 1 and 2 are on different plots.

Three photos, dewatering continues, and a hole was dug between the Gardiner and the westbound off ramp at Yonge St.

Or get rid of both it and the Jarvis off-ramp as well, replace the Jarvis ramp with a Yonge ramp, and turn the area south of a straightened Lake Shore into a public square.

Could happen.

Should happen, per the Lower Yonge Precinct Transportation Master Plan. At least EB Jarvis off ramp relocated to west of Yonge, and EB Bay on ramp removed.
