Good stuff Jason. Flew my P4P+ for the first time this afternoon. Was a little nervous since I had never flown a drone before but I managed a number of manual take offs and landings and even a hand caught landing. Hope to try out the camera and video in the coming days.

Cool. Keep at it.

are covered bridges just to keep snow off the surface???

Although the Wakefield Pont Covert is wide enough for a car to pass it is only used to pedestrians and cycles.

Some history regarding covered bridges: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Covered_bridge

"A covered bridge is a timber-truss bridge with a roof and siding which, in most covered bridges, create an almost complete enclosure.[1] The purpose of the covering is to protect the wooden structural members from the weather. Uncovered wooden bridges have a lifespan of only 10 to 15 years because of the effects of rain and sun.[2]

Bridges having covers for reasons other than protecting wood trusses, such as for protecting pedestrians and keeping horses from shying away from water, are also sometimes called covered bridges."
