An Innovative Design Competition

In January 2015, five design teams were selected to compete in the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal and Harbour Square Park Innovative Design Competition. Since then, the teams have gone through an intensive eight-week design exercise to develop their proposals for the ferry terminal, park and surrounding areas.

The goal of the competition is to create an inspiring vision for the long-term transformation of the Ferry Terminal and Harbour Square Park. That vision will be articulated in a master plan for the area that can be phased in over time, as funding and budget becomes available.
