The 35-storey tower would be one of the slenderest in the city - less than 50 feet wide north-south.

The Tudor Revival style of Ridpath's is great.

The second working group meeting took place on 9th May 2011. Ridpath's presented details of their

revised proposal: a 20-storey boutique hotel (down from original 30-storey hotel and condominium) on

the Yonge Street site, with a 3-storey sky garden cut-out to provide space between the Yonge Street hotel

and 900 Yonge Street sub-penthouse and penthouse terraces which, in fact, would result in a 23-storey

building, and a 30 storey (up from original application of 28 storeys) building on McMurrich. The three

McMurrich Street townhouses which were part of the original proposal, have now been replaced with a

residential lobby covering the entire McMurrich frontage. Other details will be available in the working

group meeting notes being prepared by the office of Councillor Wong-Tam and will be included in the

June 2011 GYRA Report.
