Subterra Renewables
4 projects  :  1 under construction  |  3 pre-construction

Our vision is to create change in our communities through reducing green house gas emissions in the built environment. We partner with our clients and enable them to meet the challenges and opportunities of the future. Subterra designs, installs, monitors, maintains and owns the geothermal system, reducing developer capital cost commitments and risk. Geothermal heating and cooling systems are significantly more efficient than other conventional systems, capable of achieving energy savings between 60-80%. Integrating geothermal into the design of new buildings helps developers align with city planning goals and future building codes, expediting the building approval and development process. Building owners and residents realize cost savings and contribute to sustainability in the community.

We believe in delivering exceptional service to our clients, partners, residents and society at large so we can all contribute to building a better future! Subterra Renewables is backed by Forum Equity Partners, an alternative asset manager and private capital investor, with a long history developing and managing complex energy infrastructure, and real estate assets. Subterra's relationship with Forum provides access to creative capital that allows us to be nimble and meet the needs of our diverse client base. Over the past two decades, Forum has been active in a number of large-scale projects including a multi-phase student housing project at York University and the Toronto City Airport Pedestrian Tunnel.
