Queensway Park Condos are debuting in South Etobicoke this weekend. The 9-storey building from Urban Capital with partners Rosewater Developments and Harbour Equity will bring 172 new homes to The Queensway west of Royal York Road. Within walking distance of a No Frills, a Costco, and numerous neighbourhood restaurants, the RAW-designed building will bring its own new restaurants and retailers to the block, including a new-style Beer Store.

What's really special about the building's location though, is what it's named after: Queensway Park itself is immediately to the north. Not just providing a verdant view from living room windows, balconies, and terraces, the park provides a spot for people to stretch their legs, to play tennis or baseball on the courts or fields, or—in the winter—to play hockey, or a take a skate on the brand new trail soon to be built. An inviting children's playground can be found in another corner of the park.

The building offers amenities both inside and out, with a wide terrace facing the park designed as a place to relax, entertain, or for those with a green thumb, to even grow vegetables and herbs for cooking with in one of the many gardening plots. While all suites have at least a balcony, terraces will also be found covering the building's top floor as each suite on the eighth floor includes stairs up to a walk-out on the ninth floor, with lots of place to enjoy either the view over the park to the north, or the city skyline to the south.

An event this week officially opened the sales centre, located at 760 The Queensway immediately east of the site. The space includes a scale model of the new building, kitchen and bathroom vignettes, an overview of the available finishes, and a look at plans for all of the suites. As of this weekend, you can get into the sales centre too, but you need an appointment, which can be made by contacting the sales team at info@queenswaypark.ca.
