As gradual intensification continues in Toronto's Danforth Village, new developments are popping up throughout the east end neighbourhood. Just to the south of Danforth Avenue, construction is progressing at The Village by Main Station, a Page + Steele / IBI Group-designed condominium by private non-profit developer Options for Homes.

Work in now underway above grade following months of labour-intensive underground work. Two cranes now soar overhead, setting the stage for the tower levels to rise. The project is being built by Deltera construction, which is a member of the Tridel Group.

Located at 14 Trent Avenue near Main and Danforth—and Main Street subway station—the site was formerly occupied by a warehouse. The Village by Main Station is set to reach a height of 12 storeys, with the 277 units coming in a mix of one-, two-, and three-bedroom suites.
