Marketing is now in full swing for SAMM Developments' new condominium project in Scarborough, The Kennedys. The project will intensify the existing Delta Toronto East Hotel site at Kennedy Road and the 401 in Scarborough with the addition of three new Page + Steele / IBI Group-designed condominium towers. The project's ongoing marketing continues to reveal new details about the development, with the first phase tower's impressive amenity layout now unveiled.

Occupying the fifth floor of the twin towers' podium structure, the project's 8,500 square foot amenity suite will house a range of spaces appointed by Tomas Pearce Interior Design, including a fitness studio with yoga area, karaoke and games rooms, a billiards room, a bar and lounge, plus a chef’s kitchen and dining room. The amenity floor plan below also shows the generous outdoor amenity terrace which boasts plenty of seating, an outdoor fireplace, and a sun lounge, all surrounded by greenery.

In the spirit of the hotel-styled amenities on offer at The Kennedys, the project will include an impressive indoor swimming pool with an adjacent pool lounge and semi-circular hot tub. The rendering shows off the finishing materials including natural stone, ceramic tile, and a waterfall feature at the far end.

Beyond the walls, the project includes a large new public space called Village Green Square, designed to foster a community feeling in this fast-developing corner of Scarborough with its inviting public realm enhancements. Designed by landscape architects Ferris + Associates Inc., renderings depict a central fountain, and spots for future public art installations.
